Faith Leaders Coalition
Churches in the Southtowns faith community have formed a coalition and are working together to support recovery from addiction in our community.
Breaking the stigma of addiction and providing help and comfort to congregations is our focus while hosting awareness and education opportunities such as "Voices of Addiction" program, Narcan training, and mental health educational initiatives.
We encourage churches to:
-
host a Narcan training
-
host a Voices of Addiction presentation
-
host the prayer box
-
offer/participate in healing services
-
assist with Oxford House welcome totes
-
participate in Red Ribbon Sunday
-
"spark" new programming in our community
If you are a person of faith and want to get involved, please join us. We meet the first Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m. at Sparks of Hope, 107 Main Street, Hamburg.
